Dorothy and Alice

Hello guys! How r u all doing?
Wow.. I think this is my first submission in about 2 years.
But not much of a submission.. this is really just a rough doodle so excuse the messiness and my obvious lack of attention to detail and tidiness !

So I've been taking an oil painting class and I think it has definitely influenced how I worked on my tablet today. It's funny how what you learn from one area can be transfered to other areas.

Anyways, this started off as just a sketch of Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, and I was drawing her clothes, I realized that it's awfully a lot similar to the kind that Alice from Alice in Wonderland wears, so I thought I might as well just draw Alice on the other side, dressed the same way as Dorothy, and making them look like sisters haha. Twin sisters wearing the same outfit, but in different stories.

After being away from the tablet for so long I felt so awkward on it! I think you can tell from the messy, uncertain outlines. Maybe other pieces in the future will be cleaner and have more effort. Anyways, feels great to be drawing again
